Everyone needs good friends, and the Library is no exception.
The Friends of the Library advocate for the Port Hope Public Library. The Friends’ mandate includes raising funds and assisting Library staff when needed. Friends of the Library members are a dynamic and diverse group of all ages with experiences from all walks of life. They welcome new members at any time.

Commitments for Friends range from:

• telephoning people from your own home;
• volunteering for a two-hour shift at a Friends event;
• planning and organizing one of the events;
• fundraising.
