Volunteer Opportunities

The Library has volunteer opportunities for teens and adults.
Some Library programs and services would not be possible without the generous support of our volunteers.

Library Board of Trustees
The Library Board is responsible for governance and policies for the Library. Members are appointed by Municipal Council.

Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library group is always looking for new members to help with its advocacy, fundraising, and program support activities.

Teen Action Group
The Library’s Teen Action Group gives teens the opportunity to design, organize and provide programming for their peers and collect community service hours.

Reading Buddies
The Library’s Reading Buddies Program is a wonderful way for adults and high school students to help elementary school kids strengthen their reading skills.

Home Deliveries
The Library offers delivery services to nursing home residents and house-bound patrons.
